Personal Development Coach

Hi! I’m Karice, an ILM accredited coach specialising in personal development coaching. This includes but isn’t limited to; confidence building, career development, improving resilience, coping with change, and relationship building.

I have 18 years’ experience of working in the voluntary sector, including 9 years as a volunteer coordinator for several local and national charities and 5 years working in training support and digital learning.

Since qualifying as a coach in 2023 I have coached both charity and HE professionals, and people seeking employment. I have also been invited to deliver sessions on the importance of EDI in coaching to trainee coaches completing their ILM accreditation.

Now we’ve got the formalities out of the way, let’s get into the nitty gritty!

My reasons for supporting others through coaching are very simple: Having benefited from coaching myself I understand first-hand how valuable this simple, yet powerful process can be. I also genuinely believe that coaching is for everyone. Not just people who work in an office, or managers, or senior leadership, or young people, or older people – everyone! Why? Because we all have goals we want to achieve and we all deserve to have the time and support necessary to set about achieving them.

I should also mention that my experiences as a black woman with albinism and visual impairment have presented situations where I have had, and continue to navigate areas of race, gender and disability both in the workplace and wider society. This, together with a masters in Culture, Diaspora and Ethnicity means I have skills and experience in these areas that I draw upon to allow me to understand multiple perspectives, creating a truly inclusive coaching experience.

I look forward to working with you!
